Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to Art-O-Rama, the premier camp for budding young artists! We’re Ivory Wise and Jackie Daniels, directors of Art-O-Rama! We teach art at Nishuane School during the school year and have been running Art-O-Rama together for almost a decade! We are very excited to get to know your children and help them explore the wonderful world of art!
We have just a few reminders about Art-O-Rama: Art-O-Rama will take place at Nishuane School in rooms B1 and B2. The camp entrance is on Cedar Avenue at Door G (across from the playground). Camp runs from 9am to 3pm - pick up and drop off will take place outside of Door G each day. You must sign your camper in and out of camp each day. In line with covid-19 protocols, masks are optional.
Please keep in mind that this is an Art Camp, some mess is unavoidable, so dress your children appropriately. For safety reasons, please refrain from wearing flip-flops or open toed shoes. Campers need to bring lunch, snack and water every day. Lunch is at 11:30am and snack is at 2pm. We have two bottle filling stations, so campers can bring a refillable water bottle to stay focused and hydrated.
Art-O-Rama has outdoor activities! Students will participate in daily outdoor recess. Be sure that sunscreen or any other outside materials (hats, sunglasses, etc.) that you would like your child to use are labeled with their name. Children will need to have a change of clothes, just in case. Please keep toys and other non-essentials at home.
If you have any questions or would like more information regarding Art-O-Rama, please contact us at: [email protected] or [email protected]. You can also contact us by phone at: 973-509-4229. We look forward to meeting you in person and we hope that we have a great summer together in Art-O-Rama!
Sincerely,
Ivory B. Wise & Jacqueline Reyes
